Tip #1 - Vet Your Suppliers Carefully
I cannot tell you how often a problem arises, and when we track it back to the suppliers, we discover that they were not reliable. It is essential to make sure that you work with trustworthy suppliers. There are several ways to do that.
For example, you can start by making sure they have an active online presence. Look at how long they have been in business. Has anyone else used them before? What is their customer service rating? Such criteria will help you determine whether to give them a try.
Tip #2 - Review the Invoices the Supplier Provides
Amazon accepts only certain types of invoices. If you are a seasoned seller, you are likely already aware of this information, but if not, you must ensure that your supplier is able to provide invoices that contain the name, address, date, quantity, and product description. I also recommend doing a quick google search to make sure the supplier's information on google matches their information on the invoice. In the past, it has been a problem if their information does not match.
Tip #3 - Review Your Product Feedback
There is typically a reason behind why consumers give your products negative reviews. So do not ignore their opinions!
When multiple buyers experience problems with your products, such as receiving items damaged, expired, or of poor quality, Amazon tracks their complaints. And if it happens frequently enough, authenticity concerns arise. In such cases, you may be flagged as selling used products as new and may even have your account suspended.
Tip #4 - Check Your Listings Before Joining Them
Often, sellers inadvertently sell a generic version of a branded product simply because it looks highly similar. Be careful! Otherwise, you will be held responsible for the consequences. To be safe, make it a point to check that the goods you are selling correspond perfectly to the details of the description.
Tip #5 - Don't Ignore Intellectual Property Complaints
These complaints are filed by the brand on the Amazon platform. They are filed to restrict the sale of infringing products on Amazon.
Sometimes, sellers receive IP complaints for products that seem to be of less value, and thereby, instead of taking any action, they simply wait for the complaint to be automatically removed after six months. These complaints can still cause issues to your overall account health. You should always make sure that your account health is in pristine condition. If you allow complaints to linger, your chances of future issues increase significantly.
